Another excellent trail in Utah, this one is located near Panguitch and is just a few kilometres from Bryce Canyon National Park. We had signed up for 5 days with a St George based mountain bike shuttle company called Mountain Bike Buddies, Mark drove us to the trail head and then waited for us at the bottom of the trail. We also rented bikes from him for an all up cost of $35 per day, a real bargain. There are so many good trails in that area and there is a shuttle bus from Las Vegas airport to St. George if you are flying in.
Looked easy on the map, dropping several thousand feet but there are a lot of switchbacks which take you up again. Not technical but a few spots that are a bit steep if you don't like heights. The last couple of kilometres looks flat from the bike but it has a grade that lets you build up a lot of speed, the surface is smooth with plenty of sweeping bends, it's a lot of fun.
