Nepean Dirt Bikes

Castlereagh July 31st 2011.

$5 entry charge, 50 races, 150 bikes and a great little dirt track in Western Sydney. A good way to spend a winter Sunday. No overpriced professional competitors just ordinary people enjoying the sport they love. At $70 for the competition entry it's good value for the riders too, compared to the remaining two road tracks we have in or near Sydney where track hire now runs to $18,000 for one day.

Not sure how they do it but these races actually attract spectators, hundreds of them, whereas the historic car races are lucky to get fifty unless you count the families of the competitors.
