The event is finally starting to attract a reasonable number of spectators and with Channel 7 providing live coverage and the free publicity from the V8 Supercar decision to run a practice day on the same weekend this year, next year should be even better. It was a pity that the race was interrupted so many times, the mountain proved too hard to handle for many of the drivers.
For me it was a very satisfying result, to see Nissan beat the best Europe has to offer with a single car team was very sweet. Even better was the way Nissan kept it's full performance advantage under wraps until the last few laps, Katsumasa Chiyo made it look so easy as he powered past the Aston, Bentley and Audi and then drove off into the distance.
Got to get some of those noodles.
One of these would be nice too, not sure what it does but I know I need one.
Maybe they know how it works.
The busiest man at the track, didn't stop all day.
