Fagan Park revisited

My Nikon D80 has been behaving strangely over the past few weeks, I am hoping a new battery will fix the problem. The screen sometimes shows coloured lines or just a black screen but a battery recharge usually clears the problem. Last night it was the black screen and yet I could scroll back to photos taken a few days ago and they were visible. These types of problems are very frustrating, do you spend hundreds of dollars if it needs a repair or just buy a new camera.

After recharging the battery this morning I did a 4 km. walk through Fagan Park and took a variety of photos, all seem to be OK.

More Fagan Park photos here

p.s The D80 died, I removed the back and there was a water mark in the bottom of the circuit boards, These cameras are not waterproof and neither is the replacement I bought which is the Nikon D5200, I have bought a waterproof camera bag and now travel with a plastic bag in my backpack in case I get caught in the rain. The last two photos here were taken with the D5200.
